Updates to courses for 2021 admission

  • New Courses

    Curtin University advises that it is offering the following new courses in 2021:
    • Bachelor of Biomedical Science (CUSIS) at its Perth campus
    • Bachelor in Science (Science) majoring in Agriculture Science (CUAGE) at its Perth campus
    • Bachelor in Science (Science) majoring in Food Science (CUFSE) at its Perth campus
    • Bachelor of Advanced Biomedical Science (Honours) (CUADS) at its Perth campus
    • Bachelor of Information Technology (Portfolio Entry) (COITE) at its Perth campus

    Edith Cowan University advises that it is offering the following new courses in 2021:
    • Education (Secondary) in Chemistry Education (EJCEM) at its Joondalup campus
    • Education (Secondary) in Physics Education (EJPHY) at its Joondalup campus

    Murdoch University advises that it is offering the following new courses in 2021:
    • Bachelor of Information Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Automation (MUSAI) at its South Street campus
    • Bachelor of Arts in Global Challenges (MUAGC) at its South Street campus
    • Bachelor of Digital Media and Communication (MUDMC) at its South Street campus

  • Amended courses

    Murdoch University advises that the following courses have been amended for 2021:
    • The course structure of the Bachelor of Commerce (MUCMC) has changed, with it now being a two-year accelerated degree and only offering two majors. Applicants may consider the Bachelor of Business (MUBUS) instead. As a result of this, Law/Commerce (MULBC), Commerce/Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MUCEI), and Agricultural Science/Commerce (MUCSC) will no longer be offered. Applicants may wish to consider Law/Business (MULBB) and Agricultural Science/Business (MUBSC).
    • Instrumentation and Control Engineering, and Industrial Computer Systems Engineering, will not be offered within the Bachelor of Engineering Honours (MUENG).
    The University of Western Australia advises that the following course has been corrected:
    • Master of Urban and Regional Planning via BSc minimum/guaranteed ATAR/Selection rank should be 80.00 and not 75.00 as listed in the TISC Guide. (UWUPS)
  • Cancelled courses

    Curtin University has advised that the following courses will not be offered in 2021:
    • Bachelor of Science (Human Biology Preclinical)
    • Bachelor of Science (Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology)
      Students may wish to consider the new course Biomedical Science (CUSIS) or Health Sciences (CUHIS).

    • Bachelor of Science (Mine and Engineering Surveying)
      Applicants may wish to consider Surveying (Honours) (CUESE) instead.

    • Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) (Applied Geology/Geophysics)
    • Bachelor of Science (Geophysics)

    Edith Cowan University advises that the following courses will not be offered in 2021:
    • Bachelor of Arts at its Bunbury campus
    • Bachelor of Sustainability at its Joondalup campus

    • Applicants may wish to consider Law/Business (MULBB)
